Dean Koontz is one of the world's biggest selling authors. Anna Koontz is Dean's remarkable dog who is poised to follow in her dad's footsteps with her first advice book for canines. She will soon become canine columnist to the world! With her superior intellect, sharp wit, a warm and fuzzy heart, Anna Koontz debuts her talent as an advice columnist in her seminal work ASK ANNA: ADVICE FOR THE FURRY AND FORLORN. Some of her best advice: take time daily for ball-chasing and belly rubs - the keys (along with sausages) to true canine joy. Learn more about the problems that plague Anna's clients and be inspired by how she counsels them. Also delight in Dean's just slightly skewed perspective on the importance of dogs throughout history. Without their advice, we humans would be in even worse trouble than we are today. They're heaven-sent (what is dog spelled backwards?!)

This short picture book will not only make you laugh, there's also a lot of dog wisdom in it that will give humans plenty to think about. A profound and up-lifting look at life from a dog's perspective.

Who knew? I certainly didn't. But as soon as I found out, I purchased her first book and read it in one sitting. Anna has a drool...um, droll sense of humor. For instance, in one pooch's letter to her he says he's concerned that everyone thinks he's a tough guy because of his looks when in reality he's quite sensitive. Anna takes one look at his photo which shows him in a cutesy vest and says, "No one will think you're a tough guy if you just keep wearing that tube top, halter top, whatever the freakin' thing is." There's plenty more where that came from, with great photos of all kinds of dogs in various poses. In letter format with 'letters' from seekers of advice and Anna in candid shots in front of a laptop, with or without her reading glasses. Honestly, if you're not laughing out loud in a matter of minutes, then you don't like dogs. Plus, 100% of Anna's earnings go to Canine Companions for Independence.
