Nanji writes beautifully about that relentless and unanswerable question- the human condition By Natasha Swinney Mr. Nanji writes beautifully about that relentless and unanswerable question- the human condition. You can't help but love his unnamed quirky and amazingly self-aware and hilarious protagonist, a searcher who leaves London for British Columbia, encountering a myriad of real, raw, and rusty characters on his search for what? Truth? Peace? God? The reader never really finds out, though this reader didn't really need to know, she was happy just to be along for the journey. And journey she did.

By LHarrison This is a journey of the soul and I found I couldn’t put it down, Mr. Nanji does an outstanding job of making the character come alive to his readers. I truly felt that I was going down the rabbit hole with him. The scenes are wonderfully done and put you right in the middle of the craziness that is going on. Such fantastic encounters with various types of people, some good, some not so good, along the way make this book engrossing that I had to read on to see what would happen next. Kudos to Mr. Nanji, I loved it and will be recommending it to all!

Throughout all the stories the one constant is the number of friendships that the author built through his travels. You wonder what you should do next? I would suggest you do what you do best and continue to write stories and poetry. Native Lands by Nadir Nanji is a great read and I enjoyed it. Looking forward to reading more by this author. Well written.
