Living Christ: An Exposition of the Immortality of Man in Soul and Body is a work written by Paul Tyner. Tyner is an Irish-born and American-educated Rosicrucianist and was a member of the Fraternitas Rosae Crucis, rising to be a member of the Council of Three within the secret society.The purpose of this book is to argue for man's immortality, not only in a physical sense but also in a spiritual sense. The author believes that every individual has immortality within their grasp. The book relies heavily on the text of the Bible for the conclusions it draws. See the chapter entitled Scriptural Evidences of Bodily Immortality for example. It should be noted that the teachings of Tyner at times differ wildly from anything presented in The Bible. The author was mentioned in "Cosmic Consciousness". It is most interesting and gives one food for thought.The book is a reprint from the old text which was interesting.Naturally it arrived almost immediately.Thank you.
