By bev Another novella that just must be read in one hit to the end!I thought this story of Sara's was going to be totally different from her others due to the first dozen or so sentences. My first thought was " murder " but after the initial shock I settled into a story that sweeps you along and makes you think how it is going to end. It could have a number of endings and not till the finish do you know. Very unexpected!It was nice to hear from the friends in previous books and knowing life seems to go on for them.I remember reading the newsletter about Maria's bike missing, just deserts I say for being nosey!If you want some great reading start with Sara Alexi's as they are just a joy to read and so easy to become lost in. You don't need to travel to Greece as she brings it right to you! Thanks again for the gift you give your readers.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Very Dark Tale By Val Another novella. I might have appreciated this short book more if it was not part of The Greek Village Collection. The earlier books were uplifting tales of people who came to believe in themselves and changed their lives. This book does not fit with those concepts. It is a sad and disturbing tale, almost a horror story. I did not enjoy reading it.

I really like how each one concentrates on just a few of the village characters and it really doesn't seem to matter which order you read the books in or if you miss any out-you can just jump right in and there's no problem keeping up with things at all. I love Sara Alexi's books, you just don't know what's going to happen next, this one is no different and kept me guessing and questioning all sorts of things as I read through. Again, I was gripped. Just one thing: were they not investigated? But that is just me-I suppose I've read too many forensic pathology books and watched programs on it! Disregarding that small niggle, this is another great little read. A shorter read from Sara Alexi but it's not that short-it's still fairly substantial and very enjoyable. Can't wait for the next!
