Don't waste a penny on this By I Have Opinions This coloring book is just a cheap compilation of fuzzy photocopied sketches from other childrens coloring books, perhaps old textbooks, and copies of a few good artists' work. The only pages of decent quality were copied from Johanna Basford's Secret Garden and Enchanted Forest coloring books, which are copyrighted. I wonder if permission was given to reprint her work. I also suspect that Beatrice Harrison is a fake name and that these books originate outside of the U.S. The text inside reads sort of like the English instructions you get with products made in China. Some pictures are attached to show the poor quality of some pictures and the use of a true artist's work.

The pictures are badly copied and not even centered on the pages. The print quality is terrible on many of the pictures. Some come from kids coloring books. There are many designs that are copyrighted designs from high quality books. I wonder if they actually had permission to use them. Save your money and buy a much higher quality book.

The images are photocopied, I actually have one of the other high end coloring books (copyright 1993) that this one copied. The copyright on this book is October 2015 and there are no acknowledgements of "borrowing" images.I am an author (not of coloring books, yet) and I fully adhere to the laws of copyright infringement. I have only original material that I compile and if I do use a photo of someone in a book or blog I get their signatures giving me permission to use it. If I were to use a graphic from someone else I am "required" to obtain permission and to acknowledge them in the book.This person found a cheap easy way to make a few dollars using material from other books.Please heed the warning of the other people who have left comments aligned with mine. Interestingly, the first graphic the lighthouse in Acadia National Park if also the first graphic in a coloring book about our National Parks however, I immediately knew the lighthouse because I grew up there. I would think if someone were to copy material at least they would not put it on the first page. The same National Park Book (a great coloring book with an exquisite middle page also has another image that I immediately recognized. It is of Cades Cove in North Carolina (Smoky Mountains) and I have been there and immediately knew it, guess what, it is also in this book in approximately the same location.She also had duplicates of copied images (is that double indemnity for fines?)There are great books out there, just look beyond this one and avoid the frustration at poorly reproduced copies.Happy Coloring .... I love my new hobby.
