By Kevin Lintner "Intuition" starts out with two best friends, Chloe and Lucy, from the age of 10 preparing to throw a party on the eve of their graduation. The purpose of the party is simple, find hot college guys and hook up with them. Chloe meets a young man named Mike, a college student, and becomes infatuated with him. They talk, meet the next day, and start going out. They marry and buy their own house. What appears to be a "Happily Every After" type story turns sour when Lucy inherits the ability to read minds and finds out dark secrets about her best friend and husband. Joanne Nicholson has given us a very well written and interesting story showing what some might think is a gift, can actually turn into a curse. It is well written and the characters are clearly defined. If you like fantasy with a touch of the paranormal, this would be a great choice for you.

I must admit I was devastated that Chloe’s seemingly perfect life dissolved after she could read people’s minds. I can’t imagine trying to live with a partner who fantasises about other women!Since reading ‘Intuition’ I’ve been wondering what all my friends are really thinking about when they say things to me. We do live in a world of political correctness and this book highlights that people rarely say what they really think.‘Intuition’ made me laugh and cry as Chloe went on her journey of re-assessing her life. As I was reading this book I could just imagine it as a movie. I would definitely recommend ‘Intuition’.

Chloe and her best friend Lucy throw a party on the eve of the last day of high school hoping to meet some older college age boys to hook up with. Chloe meets Mike and a romance begins. Fast forward 3 years and the romance is still in full swing with Mike asking Chloe to marry him on the eve of her college graduation. Chloe realizes that she is special in a way that not many others are. She can read minds. From there the book gets absolutely amazing. Chloe uses her gift but is it really that, or is it a curse?
