By Alastair McKinley I once have a Japanese visitor and I was so astounded on how he swept the lawn when he saw it full of clutter, that's when I knew that Japanese culture are mostly focused on being clutter free and thought on how it should be applied on our every home to practice minimalism and make our home presentable and comfortable with every visitor.Having to finish this book gave me the great ideas on how to simply organized everything in my home and declutter every rooms. It gave me a sense of orderly and cleanliness and the motivation to organized everything, clean up and tidy every minute thing in my home. The tips provided on this are sure helpful and I do appreciate how the author discussed every room and nook in a house and what needs to be done to maximize space and make it more spacious. This book is a must in every home.

I TRULY, REALLY NEEDED THIS!I would gladly suggest anyone who is as messy as me to read this and get organized. Seriously, I’ve got Japanese immigrant neighbors and when I enter their house I can’t believe how they keep it so clutter-free and yet very elegant. De-cluttering my house is like magic to me. It was enlightening to realize how and why Japanese have less clutter than us. That's why out of so many other books on this topic, I decided to buy this one; because I see the Japanese organization and neatness - everyday.It was really easy for me to follow this book because the different parts of the house are explained very easily, i.e. how to organized those parts (like the garage, hall, closets etc). I mostly needed my office area arranged. It is always so messy, its seems to me like I take hours to do something that can be done in minutes.An outstanding guide for me!

The “chaotic” environment of my apartment is probably the reason why I always feel stressed even though I’m just lying on the sofa. I purchased this book with the hopes that I may finally change the way I manage my apartment. I’ve read the book and it’s really packed with useful tips and concepts on how to maximize the “good vibes” of your house. You’ll be surprised that even a simple arrangement of your bedroom can lower down stress. I highly recommend this book!
