Author incorporates a wide range of important issues (Peace Corps life, corruption, politics, and responses to deadly viruses) into a very readable and compelling story.

A compelling story of an American Peace Corps worker in Africa. Delightful writing. Dr. Foltz's descriptions make me feel as if I'm looking at the scenes she describes.
