About the Author Sandi Masori, who has been called “America’s Top Balloon Expert” and “The Martha Stewart of Balloons” by the media, wears many hats (no pun intended). Sandi, former elementary school teacher and a veteran of the balloon industry since the early 1990s, was the first female balloon “twister” to put out an instructional video for the balloon industry. Since then, she has gone on to make a LOT of local and national TV appearances (at the time of this writing, 57 and counting), and several hundred “how to” videos on her Sandiballoon YouTube channel. She’s one of the original “deco- twisters”, moving fluently between balloon decorations and balloon twisting, and often combining them together. She’s become one of YouTube’s “creators,” having built up her following enough to become part of the YouTube Space program, and now shoots many of her videos in their studios. Masori is also the author of the best-selling books: The DIY Balloon Bible for All Seasons, The Event Planners Essential Guide to Balloons, and The Ultimate Guide to Inflating Your Trade Show Profits… With Balloons! The instructions are detailed enough for the novice to follow and more advanced balloon twisters will be able to quickly figure most out from just the pictures. There are even companion videos. This book is pretty much idiot proof!The books starts with basics and quickly progresses. By the time the reader has made it to the end they will be making some large and colorful creations and likely get many ideas for their own unique balloon hats. One nice surprise is that there are a few bonus sculptures that are not hats. Some of the bonus balloons are a big sword, a working crossbow, and a butterfly costume.Bottom line: get this book. Just one or two designs will pay for this book in just a short amount of time. This will be a resource that you will come back to again and again.

By Bradley Marc I have been doing ballooning for several years and thought I didn't need this book on balloon hats but purchased it anyways. I'm soooo glad that I did. Sandy shares so many designs that I never would have thought of.The best part however, is her awesome teaching style. I am so thankful that each tutorial also comes with an instructional video attached. This makes it so convenient, fast and easy to learn.I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes making balloons, is new to balloons and even to seasoned professionals.

The fireworks hat is great and the birthday cake hat, wow!The other great thing about the book is the complimentary video tutorials as well. And you don't have to be an expert twister to do a lot of these balloon hats a little practice and you've got it!Sandi even adds a few non hats too like swords, a shield and more. I definitely recommend this balloon hat book, if you twist balloons for fun your friends and family will love it! If you're a professional these balloon hats are great for parties and line work, hats are always a great way to advertise!!!This is a great addition to your balloon book library!!!!
