The coloring spaces are large enough to use crayons rather than pencils or markers. I like that I don't have to be so focused on filling in tiny spaces that I have to concentrate. I first bought the book for my brother who was battling cancer. I liked it so much I bought one for myself and for 6 friends as Christmas gifts. My friends loved them! I plan to order more by this artist.
