Carissa Kopf was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, New York. Carissa enjoys sharing time with family and friends, cooking, drawing, the beach and reading.

I finished it over morning coffee :-) Author Carissa Kopf did a great job bringing the characters to life. Her descriptions are very visual, but not wordy; just perfect. She brought the story quickly through funny introductions with Madison as she is going to work, (the ride in the elevator with the donut man was hilarious!) to meeting her quirky clever co-workers, and showing how desperately Madison needed some time for herself. The trip to the country was just what she needed. When she meets Bryce, a gorgeous vineyard owner, it is the moment that changes everything!Yes, its love! Madison is so happy! Romance is wonderful and she has found the perfect man. Problem is, Bryce has an evil ex-girlfriend who is determined to ruin their lives. Stephanie is dangerous, psychotic, and obsessed with getting Bryce back. I won't ruin the suspense, but I will say that the end was a shocker! I can't wait to see if Author Carissa Kopf adds another book to this wild adventure.There was lots of things going on in this book that made the story interesting. A building collapsed hurting Madison and several of her good friends, she gets a new exciting job, there is not just one romance-- but two that happen, and lots of hot love scenes that really steamed up the pages! The sex is tastefully written. Nothing vulgar or smutty to spoil this fantastic book. Bryce is a romantic man. Loved all those blanket picnics with wine!

I like spendingtime out East on Long Island and the authors description of the vineyards made me feel like I was sitting in the sundrinking a glass of wine. The story is a mix of sensual romance and a bit of a thriller. The characters are real and afar cry from dull. This is a good read!
