Since childhood I was able to express myself by writing rather than words, and as time went by I found that my chores and responsibilities were baiting me for writing. This gave me the opportunity to express concerns with discretion rather than to verbally embarrass or rebuke individuals. It also gave me the opportunity to reach out to those who had very special needs of healing, both physically and mentally. I found, too, that a pat on the back could be encouraging, and especially to young people. I am certain that everyone who shares with me these writings will find truths, comfort and concern for both self and others. We all have compassion for others in one way or another. This book is designed to open hearts and minds to what is happening about us and around us, and will perhaps become your own thoughts as you reach out to others that have needs.
