About the Author Neelima Polam is a self-taught artist/designer and she has experience working in positions ranging from a Computer Scientist to CEO before she decided to work full-time as an artist. Being a colorist herself, she has experienced the joy in coloring which has prompted her to create THE ART OF NOW - COLOR ME coloring books. A couple of years ago, she started doodling for fun which progressed from line art to colored art pieces giving birth to Bluishmuse (www.bluishmuse.com). The fulfillment she gets from doodling and coloring is very similar to what she experiences when doing Yoga & meditation - a sense of calm, peace and contentment during and after seeing the finished piece. She started discovering herself through coloring and art in a way that she hadn’t imagined. Neelima is also a mom of two beautiful children and a dog. She resides with her family in Virginia. When not drawing, coloring or designing, she enjoys catching up on movies and television shows or clicking photographs.

I tend to like designs to color with some detail, but not so detailed that you lose your patience and eyesight. So these are about right for me. The colored page I uploaded took me about two hours.Features of the book:-30 hand-drawn designs are on the front of the page, with printing on the back to add your name, date- The author's website and the number of the mandala is also on the back of the page. I appreciate that she did not put this on the front of the page!!-Bright white paper, same as all the Amazon Createspace coloring books-Pages are not perforated-Designs range from somewhat intricate to more detailed with smaller spaces. I don't think I would classify any of the designs as simple.-Designs are suitable for markers (some pages will require a fine tip), colored pencils, and gel pens.-Markers may bleed through, use a protector page behind your pageOverall, this book provides beautiful mandala pages, and should keep you busy coloring for many hours!

They like the fact that there are drawings of different variety here from intricate to simple. I am definitely going to buy the future books from this series and a few more of this for gifting!
